This weekend we Brunson's had a TON of fun! The temperature shot up to the mid and upper 80's and we took full advantage of all the sunshine. We did a lot of yard work (and by we I mean Scott), dropped off some crap at our local DI store, ate snow cones, ran through the sprinklers, and then got out the slip n' slide. Then we headed downtown to the parks by the green belt and had a super fun picnic, played on the playground and then walked the green belt. It was a BLAST! It feels like Summer, and I can hardly wait for school to be out so the kids can stay up later and we can have more play time! Here are some awesome pics from our glorious weekend adventures.
Yes, they played on the slip n' slide in their underwear. Their swimsuits don't fit anymore and I haven't bought new ones yet. Besides, life is more fun when you're ghetto!
Seriously, every time I look at this picture of Dexter I laugh like crazy. The kid is out of control on that slip n' slide!
picnic in the park
Ivy dances while the boys run!
Did I mention that Echo stopped scooting and made the switch to crawling. I never got the scooting on video...darn it!
The playground
This is our green belt walk. The kids were fascinated by this part because the Boise river comes up onto the walkway under the bridge. They thought it was awesome! Dexter and Corbin almost got squished by several different people on bikes and one dude on a skateboard. It got a little frustrating after about a minute and a half!
How often does this happen? All 4 kids looking at the camera, all 4 kids smiling. Its like a miracle! I still don't know how it happened, but I love it! This picture is a keeper for sure!
And then they wanted to do a silly one, so they chose to look at the sky. Weirdo's!
