Okay..The title makes no sense. Scott told me not to title it that, so ya know, I had to! Its an inside joke that only he and I understand, so please ignore it. This is actually a post about, my BIG ultrasound, Ivy's new glasses, Easter, and my living room.
So first: My BIG Ultrasound
Today I made my way over to Maternal Fetal Medicine to do the ultrasound. They checked for heart and other organ defects, and discovered that this little baby is healthy in every way. Yay! I, of course, was nervous about it, but not as much as I was when I was pregnant with Echo. I had more confidence that it would be healthy since Echo was. Also, for all of those anxious to know, its a ........baby...we didn't find out the gender. Sorry! The doctors (upon much searching) located the IUD and are very concerned about its location. They are afraid it is going to pierce my bowel or cause problems with other organs in the general area. I'm now waiting for a specialist to be calling sometime in the next few days to tell me if it needs to be removed before the baby is born or not. Always drama.
Up next: Ivy gets glasses.
Last week we had Ivy's eyes checked because, like the boys, she had been closing her right eye whenever she was concentrating, and because she was getting headaches. Sure enough, she has a slight lazy eye, and is far sighted just like her big brothers. When we left the drs office the doctor looked to Echo and said, "See you in two years!" All our kids are doomed. Its a strong gene apparently. Anyway, Ivy was crazy excited to pick out glasses and had a great time trying on all of them. In the end she went with these adorable red ones with pink on the inside. She looks so cute! The dude at the eyeglass store gushed about her adorableness (just like pretty much everyone we encounter ever!).
And now Easter. We had a low-key Easter this year (which is great because last year was filled with drama over Ivy's RSV). Here are some pics!
