Its me again....

When I got pregnant with Echo I called my OB-GYN as all women do, and was immediately told I'd have to pick a new one because my current doctor (who I will call Dr. Tall) was in the process of dumping her OB patients and focusing solely on the GYN patients.  I liked my doctor better than my last one, so I was a tad discouraged by this news.  I asked her nurse, who I'd become quite friendly with during my pregnancy with Ivy, who I should switch to and she recommended a new one, and that's who I went with (she will be referred to from this point on as Dr. Tiny).  It was the right decision, Dr. Tiny and I got along great.  She was super nice and supportive and took the time to listen to all my concerns and answer all my questions (which Dr. Tall hadn't really been great at).  In short, I liked Dr. Tiny A LOT, way more than I'd ever liked Dr. Tall.

Well, last week Dr. Tiny gave birth to her second child, a little boy, and yesterday decided that she didn't want to leave her kids and go back to work, so she isn't coming back.  I'm not going to lie, I'm devastated.  I can't say I blame her, and I'm not angry at her. I didn't want to go back to work after having kids either, so I didn't.  I'm just sad for me (yes, I'm selfish like that).  I don't want to pick another doctor again.  I like Dr. Tiny.  I don't know who to pick.  Should I ask the nurse again?  I don't know what to do.  I'm frustrated.  Why do I have to be pregnant all the time?!!

Anyway, I just wanted to vent my frustration.  Maybe that will make me feel better.

Now, here are our new pictures that I promised and my mom is anxiously waiting to see.  Enjoy! (sorry there are so many!

Corbin (He's getting too big for kiddie kandids I think, He looks huge on that block).

 This one is my favorite
Dexter, not surprisingly he was the hardest child to photograph (he usually is)
This one is my favorite of his, I just love that face!
I think Scott likes this one the best.
Ivy, she was pretty difficult too, but bribing with ice cream worked pretty well.
This one is my favorite, because of her smile....I don't know what she's doing differently, but its adorable.

Echo, she was the easiest to photograph.  She was all smiles all the time.
I don't know which is my favorite.  They are all so cute!
See!  So cute!! How can I decide?
The whole family (notice Dexter's classic smile, the one where he looks like he might need to go potty.  He tried so hard to smile, its just so hard for him to do it and not look like that.  He truly believes that is a smile.)
The cutest kids on Earth!  I love that picture!
And a cool little collage.  So fun.

Wow...They are ALL so cute I love them!!!! Now I just have to figure out how to get them to my pictures,i'm computer stupid, so I guess I'll have to get Kimi to come and do it for me!
I hope you can find a good Dr. soon. I had the same Dr. for you and Kimi, and I had the same Dr. for Maxine and Shane. All in all I had 6 different Dr's if you count the one I had in Burley...he helped me with my second miscarriage and then when I got pregnant with Britteny, he's the one that sent me to Dr. Taylor in Salt Lake...cause i was 6 months along when we moved to Midvale. Good Luck sweetie!!

Cute pictures! I say ask the nurse again, especially since you liked her last recommendations, just tell her you want someone that will be sticking around for a while.

Yes, ask the nurse again. You want someone they would want to go to. I see nurse practitioners and midwives during my pregnancy so I don't get attached to anyone doctor because when you get to the hospital I never know who is going to be there anyway. It's different that way with Kaiser insurance.

Cute family Pics. I can't believe how grown up everyone is... I know we see them often... just crazy how fast time goes and how quick the kids grow.

I'm sorry about the OB situation. I have heard great things about all the Doc's ... the next OB that I have heard even more about is Dr. Rice. Good luck with your choice.
