I think its like a 99% possibility that I have the worlds greatest kids. I went to Target yesterday and an employee actually commented on how well-behaved and adorable my kids are! I was so proud. Lately I've been thinking about all those things that I LOVE about Ivy as I prepare her and the rest of the family to leave the house for the next several weeks. I tend to cry while I pack (out of nervousness and hormones, no big deal), and I think this is the best way to avoid it....But instead of focusing on Ivy alone, I'm going to focus on each of the kids.
Corbin:
The best word to describe my 7 year old, first born son is, DELIGHTFUL! Seriously. The kid is almost never in a bad mood, he has a very calm demeanor. He is obedient and helpful and kind. He plays with ALL his siblings and (almost) never complains about it. He often reads to them and can be found teaching them to do new things. He is obsessed with technology and HAS to know how everything works. He is ridiculously smart and loves to learn and read. He is very well-behaved and a great example to his brothers and sisters. I love Corbin so much! He is a GRRRREAT kid!
Dexter:
The best word to describe my 5 year old, second born son is ENERGETIC! This kid is crazy! He loves to play outside, in any and all weather. He loves riding his bike and is passionate about swinging, jumping on the trampoline and swimming in the pool. If it involves being outdoors, he's game! He is obsessed with a friend from church/school and wants him to move in. He made a special "bed" for him on his bedroom floor, just in case his dreams come true. He loves having a partner in crime because he can hardly ever play by himself. He has a great imagination and can make a game out of a paperclip and rubberband (much like McGyver!). I love Dexter so much! He is a FUN kid!
Ivy:
The best word to describe my 3 year old, sweet little daughter is HYSTERICAL! She is the funniest girl in the world. She tells these stories that go on and on and on for like...hours! They don't make any sense, but they are so hilarious. She's sweet too! She dotes on little Echo and loves her to pieces (maybe loves her too much sometimes). She's great at making Echo laugh, which in turn, makes everyone else laugh. She's so adorable too. Everywhere we go people comment on how cute she is. I know I am biased, but I don't see how anyone could not think that she is THE cutest little girl EVER! I love Ivy so much! She is a SWEETHEART!
Echo:
The best word to describe my 13 month old baby girl is MISCHIEVOUS! It could be due to her age, but she gets into EVERYTHING! I can't take my eyes off of her for a second. She ripped her wallpaper banner in her room (twice), she is absolutely fascinated by the toilet and she can't get enough dirt and mud and water. Her favorite thing to do is keep her eyes open for the other kids to accidentally leave food on the table so she can spill it all over the floor and eat the remnants. She also loves to empty the drawers in the kitchen (that she can reach), take all the diapers out of the diaper box, and remove clothing from hampers. I love Echo so much! She is a HANDFUL!
And now, a bunch of pictures that you may or may not have seen before, but will make you jealous of their cuteness (okay, maybe not, but I think they're cute).
SEE! Told you they were awesome!
