And for once, it isn't Ivy.
My sweet little first born child saw the urologist yesterday. He's been having some issues with urgently and excessively using the restroom. I almost canceled the appointment, because I felt like I was being a little too.....I don't know.....cautious, overprotective.....something like that. I didn't want to pay a cancellation fee though, so we went. Corbin was super awesome to pee on command and leave a urine sample (that's not really something I can do) and amazingly brave as the doctor made him remove his pants to let him see if there was a problem with his penis. Well it turns out, I wasn't crazy. He really did have a problem, the doc discovered it almost instantly.
It appears that the hole from which the urine..escapes..is off to the side, and extremely small (think pricking your finger with a needle-small). The doc showed me. He needs surgery to repair it. Poor little dude. Surgery is on the 27th. Pray for my brave little guy.

That sounds like Maddie. Maybe I should stop getting mad at her and take her to the doctor. Hope the surgery goes well!

Poor kid!!!! We will pray for your family too. I guess this is probably something they can do in Boise. I was secretly hoping you had to come down her to a specialist. Ugh, we need an excuse to see you guys. (Do you think someday Corbin is going to hate you for posting about issues with his penis when he gets older? ;) I'm glad my parents didn't have access to the internet when I was young.)
