Better than last year

I learned how to do amigurumi last October. A few projects in Corbin asked me to make him Bullseye from Toy Story for his birthday. I procrastinated even starting it until a day or two before his birthday. This was not a smart move. Bullseye was a disaster. It didn't even look like a horse, but more like some sort of Zombie sock! I gave him the zombie sock anyway, and I'm still embarrassed about it.

This year Corbin asked me to make a Wall-e amigurumi. I dreaded this project. Amigurumi is a circle-based art, not square. Wall-e is square. I didn't know how to do it. I came up with a few ideas and tried anyway. I started early, so if I screwed it up, I would have time to fix it. This was very smart of me, as I had to re-do several pieces when they weren't up to the standard I set for myself. Anyway, I finished him last night. I'm pretty darn proud of how he turned out. What do you think?
