Halloween is great. It's always been my favorite holiday. I love seeing the kids dressed up (it doesn't even have to be my kids, I love seeing all kids dressed up!). I love decorating for it, and seeing everyone else's decorations. I love handing out candy to all the kids in the neighborhood (and there are A LOT of kids in our neighborhood). I love watching the old, gory, terrible, scary movies on AMC that are edited to the point where they don't really make sense (i.e. Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm street). But I have to admit, I love it when its over too! I hate it for one reason and one reason only: the candy factor. The kids beg for it all day everyday until its gone, and I'm not the type of mom to just give them their stash and let them eat it until they are sick. Its going to be a rough couple of days until its gone. But, I refuse to let it get me down. Today is my birthday and I will only allow myself happy thoughts! That is so funny Chelle, I love the AMC movies also! Especially Halloween. The candy thing does suck:( We put it up as high as we can but have you seen how tall our 8 year old is? Anyways, the kids looked cute and Happy Birthday again!
