Despite the bad day we experienced Tuesday in SLC, Scott, the kids, and I actually had a lot of fun before then.
First off, on Saturday we attended a triple couple baby shower with our friends. I love having people to be prego with, and so far haven't had to go it alone for any of my pregnancies. Lisa and Brad were kind enough to throw the shower at their house (which is awesome by the way)and it was so fun to see everyone. We adore our friends and are sad to not get to see them as much as we used to.

Sunday, we spent much of the day with my family, unfortunately I forgot the camera. I hadn't seen my parents since last December, or anyone else in about 6 months. It was so fun to get to spend time with everyone (except Ted and Pat, we missed you guys). Mom, you look fantastic by-the-way. It's strange not to get to see everybody very much since we have always been so close. Everybody's kids looked huge, especially Braxton, Shayne, and Andrew! Who gave them permission to grow up?!
Monday we got the kids up nice and early and headed to the zoo. We saw all the animals we could stand, and the boys really loved it. Corbin's favorite part was the zebra's. I don't why, but for some reason he had been looking forward to the zebras for days.
Dex plugging his ears in the giraffe exhibit, there were some other kids screaming in there.
Also on Monday we spent time with Scott's parents and were able to see our old house in Kearns. It was so fun to see the house, we have such fond memories of that place. Corbin actually remembered it (after a while) and wanted to move back in. Since we moved Ross (Scott's dad) had put in a sprinkler system in the backyard and really cleaned it up, he had just installed fresh new sod a few weeks earlier and it looked amazing. It made me kinda sad that it didn't look like that when we lived there.
Later that day Marde (scott's mom) made us yummy lasagna for dinner, Yummy! And of course we spent time just talking and watching babies delivered on discovery health. She offered to babysit the kiddo's so we could see our friends one more time, so we took advantage and went to the Belgium Waffle (even though I banned it last time we went there).
We finally got to see Phil and meet his fiance' Nichole, Van also came, as well as Brad and Lisa. We talked and laughed and had such a good time. I think there were at least 3 different times that someone was laughing so hard they cried. As much as I despise "the belg" I have to admit it probably wouldn't have been so much fun if the food, service and pretty much everything else about it didn't suck so bad!
Anyway, so I just wanted to thank everybody that gave us a reason to smile over the weekend and make it possible for us to look back with fond memories instead of just the negative ones. We already miss everyone and look forward to seeing you again in about a month or so.
P.s. Our induction date has been moved from the end of October to November 7-I guess the doctors thought october was too early even though I already had to suffer through the steriod shots in my butt to help the baby's lungs fully develop! It's okay, November is a good month and this way I don't have to cancel our Halloween traditions.

I'm glad you guys were able to play while you were down in SLC. I love the triple prego shot! Cute cute.
It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun stuff to do while here. I was mad that I forgot our camera as well. Your little Dex cracks me up, what a cutie! We will see you again soon...
Im happy you guys had some fun while you were here. I miss you, and it was nice to get to spend some time with you and your cute family!! I look forward to get to see you in a month or so....
Wow I am huge. Well they will be fun pictures once we are not pregnant anymore. It was really good to see your family. We have missed you.
Loved the prego pictures. It is so much more fun to share the pains of pregnancy with someone you love (another woman that is) cuz husbands don't really count, they can't really understand.
