So yesterday I decided it was time for Dex to make the move into Corbin's room. Scott and I decided it would be good if Corbin and Dex could share a room, so since we moved into our house we have been slowly taking steps to make that happen. We have told Corbin all along that he and Dex would be sharing, and even decorated the room with both of their cross-stitches and wood letters as if they were already sharing. Basically, the room was just missing Dex and his bed. So last night was the first night with the two of them together, we put dex to bed first and then Corbin about 45 minutes later. We told Corbin to be quiet and not wake his brother and he complied. It went really well. I checked on them at about midnight, and they were both asleep in their own beds. When I woke up at 5:ooam to use the bathroom I decided to check them again, still sleeping in their own beds. Then morning came, and Dex started to cry at his usual time, about 8:15. I go in to get him before he wakes up Corbin, and find Dex in Corbins bed, and Corbin asleep on the floor. So basically, sometime between 5 and 8:15 am, Dex got in bed with Corbin and Corbin moved to the floor, without a sound. I can't believe I had no idea they had moved around. I started laughing and woke up corbin, so I asked him what happened and all he said was "Dex took my bed." So I don't know what happened, but at least they didn't fight right! I still think it is a success. Hopefully Corbin won't have to wake up on the floor every morning.

I would totally consider that a secess to. Thats awsome, im glad it worked out for you. I bet by the end of the week you won't have any problems. ;)
When we first had Rayden and Alex share a room Rayden was so excited, that wore off and he was upset and now he loves it again. I think Corbin will probably go back and forth from time to time but overall I think they will have fun.
I'm glad things went well for the most part. I never planned on my kids sharing a room but Boo kept wanting to sleep with Brax towards the end of the school year. So I told her she could only do it on weekends and they thought it was cool. Then she started sneaking in at night and he wasn't getting good sleep. Long story short, she still has her own room but now Brax has bunkbeds so she can sleep with him but in her own bed.
Wow I can't believe that Dex stayed in his own bed for so long. That is really cute that he kicked Corbin out of bed and Corbin never made a fuss about it. I know that would never happen at my house. The neighbors would hear it if Maddie tried to steal Camille's bed. Hope it is still working for you.
