Dexter's latest success

Dexter would like me to report his latest success. With just under two weeks until his first birthday, he is FINALLY weaned!! I can't believe it, I am free (for a few months anyway, until I have to do it all over again). He has been mostly weaned for a few months now, but he just couldn't give it up at night, so we took the slow approach and gradually took feedings away. It worked like a charm and now he doesn't even realize it's completely gone.
We are now working on him sleeping ALL night, which is hard. He has never slept through the night, and now that our mexican trip is less than a month away I am feeling the pressure. He usually sleeps until about 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning, but I would love him to sleep until 7:00 or 8:00. I would feel terrible if he kept getting up while he is visiting grandma. If anyone has any suggestions let me know! I could really use the advice.
