Happy Birthday little man! Yesterday was Dex's first birthday, I can't believe its already been a year, it feels like he was just born. Crazy!! Anyway, we had a little birthday party for him, his cousins came over along with Russell, Collette and Shawn. I made him his very own cake to destroy, it was a red velvet cake with chocolate frosting, so it would be extra messy. He was pretty timid at first, but eventually he dug in and got a little dirty. We had a lot of fun, and hopefully so did he.

I can't believe how old little Dexter looks. He has so many teeth! I love the happy cake face. He looks like he enjoyed it. I can't believe how fast it has gone by, and I can't believe my little Anna is almost a year old. It didn't seem that close until now.
i can't believe a year has gone by either! i feel like we were JUST at his baby blessing. he is turning into quite the little man. how fun! i'm sorry we can't be close by for fun events like this.
So the real question is....
Did you save me some cake?
