Cute kids random tidbits

Do you know what Ivy's most common compliments from people are?

~most common: Her super cute chubby cheeks. I'm not kidding, random people at the doc's office or target or church and everywhere else we go comment on them constantly.
~Second most common: Her voice! Seriously, its cute, and beyond description. Someday I'll put up a video of her talking just so you can hear it! She sounds really smart and is easy to understand, which is shocking to strangers due to her small stature (They always think she's much younger).

Sometimes I feel like I'm being interrogated by my 6 year old. He asks SO MANY questions! Its a constant thing, and many times, I do NOT know the answer! He thinks about things that I've never thought about in my whole life, and then expects me to know the answer when he comes up with something crazy and out of the blue (out of the blue, but also very insightful and quite amazing). I have to look things up on the internet sometimes! He's six and he's already smarter than me.

Echo is growing like a weed!! She's about 11 1/2 lbs now! She is wearing an outfit right now (size 3 to 6 months) that Ivy wore from about 9 months to 18 months, it blows my mind that they are so different in size. Echo is also smiling a lot more, although I still have to work pretty hard to coax one out of her!

Dexter is still with grandma Marde, but we get to see him tomorrow. We are so excited to see him. We miss him like crazy, but he is having a great time with her. She sent us an email last night called "Reflections of Dexy". I was having a rough day because of a doctors appointment that caused me some pain, so this email really made my day. I want to quote my favorite parts for you.
~"After a temple sealing, I picked him up and took him to the luncheon. After eating and playing there, I asked him to say thank-you to the hostess. She bent down to make eye contact with him, then he leaned forward, kissed her right on the lips and said thank-you!"
~"I may NOT eat off of his plate. He is VERY territorial that way. He said to me once, “How would you feel if I ate your food? Really, he may be right. However, someday, when his wife tastes a bit of his food, at some restaurant, she may be in for a big surprise. Once, when I accidentally ate a piece of left-over toast from his plate, he insisted I give it back, and let me know that he would wait for it to come out in my poop if necessary."

Man I love that kid! Thanks for the email Marde, I laughed and laughed!

Way cute post...of course you get comments on Ivy's cute little chubby cheeks...cause they are . Corbin has always has been "just plain smart"
I'm glad the bay is growing so good.
As for Dex, he has always been so sweet to come and give me a hug and a kiss, I don't have to ask him he just does it when I put my arms out to him.
