Everyone is special, but the Brunson family appears extra special these days. Want to know why?
1) Every year only 1000 babies in the US are born with HLHS. For 2008 Ivy was one of them. Bummer.
2) Of those 1000 babies only a small percentage are born with other birth defects. Ivy is one of those babies too. Double bummer.
3)In pregnant women there is only a 1 percent chance that they will develop ICP (see previous post). Today I found out that I am part of that 1 percent. Triple bummer (at least poor Ivy isn't involved in this one!)
Isn't being special grand?!
My induction is now planned for thursday the 19th. Sorry to all those who guessed days after that for the birth, but for all of you who guessed before there is still a chance the baby could come on its own earlier. Do you know who guessed the 19th? Nobody!! I guess no one anticipated this change in events eh!!

Oh, so sorry. How many days early is that? Will the itchiness end as soon as you have the baby? You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Chelle...you're a trooper...you'll get through this and everything will be awesome! The power of positive thinking and prayer, that is what I'm doing. I have A LOT of faith in you and your sweet little family!!!
I have never heard of such a "disease" and I am sorry that you have it. I tell you pregnancy does some weird stuff to the body. Glad you asked your Dr about it. Hope you go into labor before Thursday. I am sure it will be nice to be itch free (will it instantly go away?) You should go to Vegas with your odd defying skills.
