Dear Winter,
You are not my favorite weather, in fact, you're my least favorite. I'm sorry we no longer get along like we did when I was a kid. I'm sad that I can no longer tolerate a cold nose and numb fingers. I wish I had the patience and confidence to drive on your icy roads. I regret not thinking that building a snowman is worth my time. I appreciate the moisture you bring. I dig getting to wear my sweaters, boots and super cute coat. I love that the kids got to miss one day of school because of snow. I even like the occasional foggy mornings, but I'm done.
Please, please, don't take this the wrong way, but its time to move on. We both know it. You're getting lazy (what good is winter without snow), and I'm looking forward to seeing other weather. Namely Summer, but you're going to have to be long gone for that to happen.
So anyway, thanks for being around for a little while, but get lost.
Yours truly,
Rochelle
Dear Summer,
I anxiously await your arrival for fun in the sun, time in the pool, bike rides, evening walks, playgrounds, and an all around good time.
Devotedly yours,
Rochelle

Bravo. Well said. That was funny and clever and well.....perfect.
I hope it warm's up for you soon. I like spring and fall. Because we can turn off our heater and a.c.,open our windows and enjoy fresh air, and the utility bills go way down.
I'm ready for warmth but I dont want to skip straight to summer. Even these 'warmer' days of 40 are feeling mighty fine. I'm certainly done with the freezing though. Love the letters. Can you send one of those for me too? :)
