I'm so glad Dexter is a fluent talker these days. Ever since he started talking he seriously says the cutest, funniest, and silliest things ever. Here's a true gem from this evening.
Dex: Can we sing the song about Jesus and the monster?
Scott: What song about Jesus and the monster?
Dex: The one from church where the monster bites Jesus' head.
Scott: What? I don't think there is a song like that. Rochelle, do you know what he's talking about?
Rochelle: What song Dex?
Dex: The one where the monster bites Jesus' head.
Rochelle: I don't think there is a song like that. Jesus wants me for a sunbeam?
Dex: No! From church!
Rochelle: I don't know what you are talking about.
Scott: Is it the song where Jesus lays his head in a.....manger? hysterical laughing begins from both Scott and I, and doesn't stop for several minutes, while we both have tears running
Scott and Rochelle: This song? we sing "Away in a manger"
Dex: Yeah that one.
Scott and Rochelle: more laughter.
