So it runs in the family...

Remember the other day when I told you about falling while racing? If not, check out the previous post. Well, apparently I'm not the only clumsy one in the house. Today when Corbin came out of the school he saw me and started to run to me. He fell. Hard. On the asphalt. Poor little dude scraped his knee up pretty bad, he also hit his hand and his head, yes his HEAD on the ground, and got a pretty good scrape there (as well as a nice goose-egg). He was the first kid out the door, therefore all the other parents got to witness this gnarly fall. I swear there was a collective gasp! He'll be okay, but it was pretty sad. He cried the whole way home, and got pretty upset when I said we had to clean up the wounds and put on some band-aids. (When I think back on it, its kind of hard not to laugh, but don't tell him that). Anyway, here are the pics of the two main injuries (the one on his hand is pretty teeny).

These pictures do not do justice to the extent of the injuries, but you get the idea. Clumsiness runs in our family!

sounds like he takes after Aunt Maxine, watch out for those sidewalk cracks little guy, they are dangerous!!! Like I should talk, if there is a hole in the ground my foot will almost certainly find it.
