Moments that warm my heart

As a full time stay at home mom I have days when I feel overwhelmed by my own children. They are loud, they fight, they whine, they complain about what I make for dinner, they don't say thank you as much as they should, they're messy, they fight, they cry, they never want to go to bed, they always want a drink, they never eat things that are good for them, and did I mention they fight. Despite all these things that can make my day hard, there are tender moments that just warm my heart, and I am so proud to be their mother. Moments when they say "I love you" to me or Scott, but mostly when they say it to each other, when they give each other hugs, when they are concerned for each others well being, when they do silly things to make each other laugh, when they play together without fighting, and when they look at books together, just to name a few. Here are some pictures of a couple of these precious moments that make it all worth it.

Amen to that. You put it beautifully. It is SO tough sometimes but then we have those precious moments that make it all worth while. Thanks for sharing a few of yours.

The whining is what drives me up the wall or when they throw a fit because they don't get thier way. It is HARD but there are the little moments that make it SOOOO worth it.

I don't know what your talking about, my children are all angels all of the time!!! Sometimes I wonder why I haven't pulled as much of my hair out as Ryan has pulled of hers. Cute pics, your kids are all adorable, I don't think I have ever seen one of them in a bad mood, ever.

I so get that. Esp recently with my hubby out of town for so long doing the stay at home mom thing is so tiring. It makes those tender moments so special. What cute kiddos you have!

Those are my favorite moments too! Somehow they make all the crying and diapers and snotty noses worth it!

I am glad to hear that it isn't only my kids that whine and complain and fight. Sometimes it is hard to focus on or even remember the good times. What cute pictures.
