New Bike

The last couple of weeks Corbin has been loving the bike we got him for his second birthday. He rides when we go for walks and goes so fast that it scares me a little. He was rapidly outgrowing the bike, but we thought as long as it works, he's okay. Well last week he was riding it in the driveway when he completely busted through the training wheel, rendering it unusable. He was crushed. Everyday he'd say "can you glue it back together?" but it wasn't possible. Instead, this saturday we went and bought him a new bike ( for just $34, what a deal!!), along with a bell, helmet, elbow and knee pads (to make me feel like he's safe). Don't worry, we also got Dex a helmet, and pads, but not a bike, he just got a tricycle for his birthday. The boys had so much fun riding in the driveway until the rainstorm moved in, and hasn't completely gone away since. I guess he'll have to wait to break it in until the weather improves.

Here's Corbin' with his new digs.

Dex refused to sit on his trike so I could take a picture. He'd get close to it and act like he was going to and then when I'd hold up the camera he'd take off running and laughing. He gets such a kick out of himself!

Meanwhile, Ives made a new freind.......her tongue!

New bikes are so fun!

And I think Dex and Seth would get along great. That totally sounds like something Seth would do!

That little girl looks like she is going to have a huge personality. Glad you were able to get him a new bike so they can still have fun on them.

Little Ivy's hair is getting lighter and lighter with every picture you take, she is so cute. It looks like the boys are all decked out for bike riding. I hope the weather gets better so they can get back out there to ride them.
