First off, I just have kind of a funny story. When we moved into our house a little over 2 months ago, we were super excited about our master bathroom because it is huge, and has a big tub and a seperate shower. The day we moved in, Scott decided to take a shower before going to bed, because of all the work from the day. I heard him start the shower up and turn it off several times, until finally I heard it continue going for a long period of time, and then turn off. I thought he was done. About 5 minutes or so later he still hadn't come out of the bathroom and I heard some splashing. So I went in to see what was going on and there he was sitting in the bathtub. I have never seen Scott take a bath, EVER, He is not a bath kind of guy. I was like, "What are you doing?" and he told me that the hot water in the shower didn't work, whenever he would turn the faucet to hot, the water would just shut off completely. So the next day he tried to figure out what was going on, he turned it on and off like 50 times and each time it would shut off as he went towards the hot side. He messed with the water heater too, but eventually gave up, so for two months now we have been using the shower in the boys' bathroom. Well, this week he got sick of it and decided he was going to open that wall up and figure out the problem to fix it. We didn't want to call a plumber, first of all they are so expensive, and second of all I have too many family members who are plumbers that I have a hard time paying anyone else to do it. Well right before Scott planned to dig into the wall he thought, I'll try the shower one more time. He turned it on really fast, it made a big air bubble sound, and hot water finally emerged. All this time, it turns out, it didn't work cause the hot water couldn't make it past an air bubble! I laughed so hard, it's a good thing we didn't open up the wall or call a plumber!
And to update FINALLY on when we are coming to salt lake, I was able to set the appointments yesterday, after several frustrating phone calls, faxes and appointment changes. We have scheduled appointments with the cardiologists at Primary Children's and the Maternal Fetal Medicine dept. at University Hospital on Tuesday Sept 30. So we will be there the weekend before, and monday and tuesday leaving Tuesday afternoon after all the appointments are done (Sept. 27-30). Anyone who wants to see us that is when we will be around. We will try to see everyone who is interested, but if we don't make it to you, don't worry, we'll be back a month later for a longer period of time. We will make time for everyone eventually.

That's too funny! I knowShane will get a kick out of your story when he reads it. Can't wait to see you guys, either now or later. Be careful and we will see you soon!
I hate to recant in just an hour or so after posting, but those salt lake dates may not be right after all. I just got a call from primary children's and apparently no one knows what is going on. I am waiting to hear back from our cardiologist here in boise, so once again, I will let you know when I know. I can't believe how rediculous this is becoming!
So your water pipes just needed to burp, that is pretty hilarious. I have never heard of anything like that. Glad you checked one more time, huh.
Well at least you know you will be coming at some point in time with in the next few weeks. Thats so funny the same thing happened to us when we moved in our home, only it was a O-Ring stuck in the pipes. But my husband is a plumber and he still hasen't fixed it. 3 years later!!
