Mother's Day and Other Pics

So, I am well aware that mother's day is long over, but we just uploaded the pics to the computer so here you go. These are the roses Scott picked up for me for mother's day. I was totally surprised, mostly because this is the first time in our 8 1/2 year relationship that he has ever bought me flowers, but also because he picked them up before he got home from work one day and so I had no idea he had even gone to the store. He also gave me a movie. Also here are the boys and I after church. Corbin is incapable of smiling on cue, he actually thinks he is smiling, so instead he always makes some crazy face. He drew me a picture that I should have taken a photograph of, but haven't yet. He says it is a picture of me, but I think it looks more like a squirrel wearing a baseball cap, it is really cute and made my day.

Here is Dexter, lounging like a couch potato, if you'll notice he is holding the remote in his left hand. That's right, we train 'em young. Next we have Daddy and Corbin playing with our brand new (slightly used for the last 30 years or so) light bright. We got it at a garage sale on saturday and Corbin was very excited, he kept saying "It's just like grandmas!"

Here is a finished picture that corbin made me do, he was so excited to see his and dex's names spelled out in lights.

We also have a picture of Corbin's barney book that teaches how to write letters, this is his practice work, have I mentioned Corbin is a genious?

Here we have the boy's sunscreened up and ready to make the long trek to Russell and Collette's house. It doesn't seem far when you drive, but the walk ended up taking about 50 minutes to get there. I thought, I better not wear my flip-flops, or I'll get blisters, so I wore my tennis shoes and ended up with blisters anyway. They were actually bleeding by the time we arrived, but it was so worth it just to get out!!

Now here is Dex playing in the bathroom cabinets, he is so photogenic and adorable.

Oh Man, laughed my butt off at Corbin's smile. Love it. I love the new look of your blog. It takes me about an hour to walk to Ryan and Suzan's and they get mad at me for walking every time I do but I always feel so good afterward.
