Slacking on the blog

I feel like I've really slacked on the blog lately.  But I kinda don't have much to blog about.  Here is my attempt at figuring out what we've been doing for the last few weeks.

We've done a lot of unpacking and de-junking.  In fact I just gave all my cute baby girl clothes to a good friend of mine (along with a jumper and a carseat).  It was so hard for me to give away all those cute dresses, but I know they will now be loved by someone else.

We have been playing outside as much as humanly possibly to make the most of the weather before it turns unbearable.

You have no idea what a milestone it is to see Ivy riding a bike.  She is so short that her legs could never reach the pedals before.  They finally reach! She'll be a pro in no time!

Made another short trip to Bear Lake

Dexter lost his first tooth! (Literally, he lost it at school and didn't even realize it was gone til he got on the bus and Corbin asked him about it.  He wrote a nice note for the tooth fairy so he could still get his money.  She was nice and still gave it to him.)

Of course there are always injuries...
Ivy conked her head on a chair and got the mother of all goose eggs and a nice bruise to go along with it.

Dexter fell on the asphalt at school and got a pretty gnarly scrape on his knee and one on his elbow.  The school had me come in to clean the wounds and apply neosporin (which made me wonder what the nurse is for, but whatever).

Echo has of course been up to her usual shenanigans.
She colored her legs blue with a marker
She walks around the kitchen with pans on her head (on a pretty regular basis).
And she enjoys putting diapers on EVERYTHING!

Ivy went to her first day of preschool at Hillcrest High School.  She loved every minute of it, and was the cutest kid there!  I can't believe my little fire cracker is growing up!
Echo got to go to orientation too and participate in the activities.  She wishes she could go all the time!

And last, I put up my Halloween stuff (I figured if there are costume commercials and Scott can buy Halloween candy to snack on, then that means I can put up my stuff.  I love Halloween!)

Well, I think that's about it.  We lead busy, eventful lives over here!

Wow-what a busy fun family! You could also add your Aquarium fiasco to the list. Poor Dexter. I'll have to call him and commiserate with him about wounded legs from tripping and falling on hard surfaces. Loved all the pics!
